Introducing My One-Time Problem-Solving Package for Wikipedia

Navigating Wikipedia can feel like a minefield. Whether you’re an individual, a business, or a public figure, the stakes are high when it comes to ensuring accurate, well-sourced, and neutral representation on the world’s largest collaborative knowledge platform. That’s where I come in.

I’m excited to launch my One-Time Problem-Solving Package, designed to tackle a specific Wikipedia-related issue of your choosing within eight hours. Therefore, if you’re grappling with outdated information, poorly sourced claims, or a page that needs improvement, this package is your lifeline.

What’s included?

Here’s what I can do for you within the eight-hour timeframe;

  • Image updates: I’ll guide you through the de-licensing process to add or update an image on your Wikipedia page. Specifically, this ensures compliance with copyright and licensing policies.
  • Contentious information removal: If a biography of a living person contains poorly sourced or potentially defamatory content, I can help remove it in accordance with Wikipedia’s strict policies.
  • Infobox updates: Let’s refresh the at-a-glance information about you, your organisation, or your client to keep it relevant and accurate.
  • Lead section improvements: The lead section sets the tone for any Wikipedia article. I’ll ensure it accurately reflects the subject and complies with Wikipedia’s content guidelines.
  • New content creation: Do you need something fresh? I can craft and implement 200-300 words of encyclopaedic text in compliance with Wikipedia’s neutrality and verifiability standards.

What you need to know

  • Success is not guaranteed. Due to Wikipedia’s rigorous policies, some issues may be unsolvable. If that’s the case, I’ll provide alternative remedies or recommendations.
  • Strict adherence to guidelines: I will not take any action that violates Wikipedia’s content policies or Manual of Style.
  • Beyond the scope: If your request exceeds the agreed eight hours, any additional work will be billed at my usual hourly rate of £120.

Before you order your one-time Wikipedia problem-solving package

Like all my packages, I recommend starting with a preliminary viability assessment to optimise the chances of me successfully implementing your edit requests and ensuring our edits remain live and unchallenged. Sadly, I often get requests to update Wikipedia with biased or unverifiable information. Therefore, the preliminary viability assessment helps determine whether your problem is solvable within the constraints of Wikipedia’s policies and won’t create more problems further down the line. The preliminary viability also clearly defines the project’s scope, thus paving the way for a smoother project.

FAQs

Can you align our organisation’s Wikipedia page with our house style?

No. Wikipedia requires a neutral, unbiased tone. Advertorial copy or promotional content violates its guidelines and may be illegal in your jurisdiction. Therefore, I will check any new content for compliance, and I will never place your page at risk of being flagged or removed.

How do I get started?

If you require an invoice for your preliminary viability assessment, please email me at james@wikinative.com. Alternatively, my Wikipedia editing packages and preliminary assessments are available via my website’s shop. Once we’ve established a clear path forward, you can purchase the package and let me do the heavy lifting.

Why should I trust James Lawrie, aka WikiNative, to deliver?

With years of experience navigating Wikipedia’s labyrinthine rules, I bring a nuanced understanding of achieving results without compromising integrity.

Got a Wikipedia problem? Let’s solve it together.

Whether you need a tweak to your infobox, a rewrite of your lead section, or removing an unfair claim, my One-Time Problem-Solving Package will bring clarity and compliance to your Wikipedia presence.
