Welcome to WikiNative’s shop

Professional Wikipedia research, writing and editing, delivered through my bespoke, proprietary cloud platform.

Work with me in your private workspace to develop properly sourced, verifiable encyclopaedic prose, written from a neutral point of view and prepared using current best practice in WikiText and Wikipedia’s Manual of Style.

Your project is drafted, reviewed, revised and tested privately before it reaches Wikipedia. Sources, comments, assessments and revisions stay together, giving us a clearer, more efficient way to work.

All services are ordered through the shop in your WikiNative platform account and managed within the platform. Google Docs is no longer part of my project workflow.

A platform subscription is required

New Page Creation and Live Wikipedia Editing projects require a monthly WikiNative platform subscription, charged separately from the project fee. Plans start at £49 per month.

This is how I now work. Your drafts, sources, comments, assessments and revisions belong in one private workspace, where we can develop and test the work properly before it reaches Wikipedia.

Your subscription pays for the software, hosting, Gattitos, maintenance and continuing improvements that make this possible. It also includes your plan’s monthly assessment allowance. Your project fee pays for the professional work we agree.

The subscription is not optional, but it gives us a better way to work. Less time chasing documents, repeating instructions and untangling email chains means more time spent getting your project right.

Choose your platform plan

Plan Monthly subscription Users Included assessments each month
Subscribe to Solo £49 1 1
Subscribe to Small £99 Up to 5 3
Subscribe to Medium £179 Up to 10 6
Subscribe to Large £299 Up to 20 10, plus priority review

Each included assessment credit can be used for either a Preliminary Notability Assessment or a Preliminary Viability Assessment.

Unused assessment credits carry forward and expire three months after issue. You will receive reminders before they expire.

Preliminary assessments and draft reviews

The following prices are available exclusively to platform subscribers. These services can only be ordered through the shop inside your WikiNative platform account. Assessment requests, supporting material, reports and draft reviews are all handled within the platform.

Service Subscriber price
Preliminary Notability Assessment £49, or one included assessment credit
Preliminary Viability Assessment £73.50, or one included assessment credit
Draft Review £24.50, charged separately

A Preliminary Notability Assessment examines whether the available reliable, independent coverage supports creating a new Wikipedia article.

A Preliminary Viability Assessment examines proposed changes to an existing article and identifies which aims can be reconciled with Wikipedia’s requirements.

A Draft Review examines an existing draft and identifies the work needed to improve its sourcing, neutrality, structure and presentation. It does not replace a notability assessment.

Additional assessments cost the same on every plan. Draft reviews are never included in the monthly assessment allowance and cannot be purchased using assessment credits.

Preliminary assessments, draft reviews and project services are ordered through the shop inside your platform account. That is also where you submit material, receive your assessments, review drafts and work with me.

The assessment and draft-review prices shown here are exclusively for platform subscribers. Orders and delivery take place on the platform. Google Docs is no longer part of the process.

Working with me

I bring eight and a half years of experience to the table. You bring your brief, source material and any existing draft, and we work together in your private workspace to get it into shape.

That means properly sourced, verifiable encyclopaedic prose, written from a neutral point of view, with the WikiText, references and formatting brought into line with Wikipedia’s content policies, guidelines and Manual of Style requirements.

My private mainspace simulation models real new-page reviewers at their strictest, grumpiest and least forgiving. I want the awkward questions asked there, where we can deal with them properly, before the work goes anywhere near Wikipedia.

We use the findings to revise the draft, address the issues identified and prepare it for public scrutiny. I only take it forward when I am satisfied it is ready.

Tested privately before it reaches Wikipedia

My private simulation of Wikipedia’s mainspace models the scrutiny of real new-page reviewers at their strictest and least forgiving.

The purpose is to ask the difficult questions before your work becomes public. Drafts and proposed edits are examined for unsupported claims, promotional language, sourcing problems, reference errors, WikiText issues and inconsistencies with Wikipedia’s content policies, guidelines and Manual of Style requirements.

You and I use those findings to revise the work in your private workspace. I only move it forward for implementation when the issues identified through testing and review have been addressed and I am satisfied it is ready for public scrutiny.

Wikipedia should not be where you first discover avoidable problems with your draft. The preparation, testing and revisions happen privately, before upload.

Wikipedia remains independently edited, so acceptance and continued retention cannot be guaranteed.

Payment and work outside the agreed scope

You must keep a valid payment card on file or maintain sufficient prepaid credit in your WikiNative platform account to cover the work you order.

Prepaid account credit is money available to pay charges. It is separate from the assessment credits included with your subscription.

Your project covers the work and revisions agreed at the outset. Any work outside that agreed scope is additional and billable. Further requests, expanded briefs and additional deliverables do not become part of the original fee simply because the project is already underway.

Any additional live Wikipedia editing work that falls outside the project’s agreed scope is charged at £120 per hour. Other additional services are charged at their listed or separately quoted price.

The platform subscription does not provide unlimited personal support, calls, drafting, revisions or live editing.

New Page Creation

£1,800 project fee, plus a mandatory platform subscription from £49 per month

For clients who want me to research and write a new Wikipedia article from scratch, or work with them to bring something they have written themselves or drafted in-house up to Wikipedia’s standards.

A company profile, promotional draft or flattering biography needs more than a change of tone. It needs the right sources, a defensible structure and a clear understanding of what belongs in an encyclopaedia.

I bring eight and a half years of experience to that work. Together, we develop the article in your private workspace, test it, address the findings and prepare it for upload. The amount of existing material to be revised and the scope of the project are agreed before work begins.

Project payments

  • £900 upfront for the first project stage.
  • £900 second-stage payment when any of the following occurs: the article remains live in Wikipedia’s mainspace for 31 days; the subject edits it themselves; a new-page reviewer rates it Start-Class or above; or the subject requests additional edits after upload.

The £1,800 project fee and monthly platform subscription are separate charges. The subscription is not optional, but it gives us a better way to get the work done.

Start by creating your platform account and ordering a Preliminary Notability Assessment through the platform shop. You can use an included assessment credit.

Any work beyond the agreed project scope is billed separately.

Live Wikipedia Editing

Editorial fees, plus a mandatory platform subscription from £49 per month

For clients who need sourced corrections, updates or more substantial improvements to an existing Wikipedia article.

Proposed changes are researched, prepared and reviewed in your private WikiNative workspace, then tested before live implementation.

Service Editorial fee Payment arrangement
One-time problem solving £960 £480 upfront; £480 on completion. Includes eight hours of work.
Page Editing Basic £1,600 £800 upfront; £800 on completion.
Page Editing Premium £1,800 £900 upfront; £900 on completion.
Page Editing Deluxe £3,000 £1,500 upfront; £1,500 on completion.
Pay-as-you-go editing £120 per hour Research, planning, drafting, checking and implementation count towards the time purchased.

These editorial fees exclude the mandatory monthly platform subscription for new clients. The requirement also applies to clients purchasing editing by the hour.

Order a Preliminary Viability Assessment through the platform shop to establish which proposed changes are supportable and what the work is likely to involve. You can use an included assessment credit.

The project scope is agreed before work starts. Additional live Wikipedia editing outside that scope is charged at £120 per hour.

Wikidata Knowledge Graph Development

Research, structure and maintain the documented connections between people, organisations and their work.

Begin with an audit, commission implementation where the evidence supports it, and add monitoring if you need ongoing oversight.

Entity Landscape Audit and Graph Blueprint — £1,200

One-off payment upfront.

I review your existing Wikidata footprint, distinguish namesakes and duplicates, assess the sources and check relevant identifiers. You receive a written blueprint identifying the entities, relationships and improvements the evidence supports.

The audit is required before implementation and is a useful deliverable in its own right. It does not include live editing or commit you to further work.

Knowledge Graph Implementation — from £2,400

Quoted separately after the audit.

I implement the agreed blueprint by improving existing records, adding justified items, connecting supported relationships and checking identifiers. The work includes validation and a record of the changes made.

The £1,200 audit is additional, so audit and implementation together start at £3,600. This is not an unlimited editing package or a fixed number of items.

Graph Health Monitoring — £480 per quarter

Optional ongoing service.

Monitoring covers an agreed set of Wikidata records and relationships, checking for changes such as altered statements, identifier problems and duplicate records.

Coverage, reporting and any remedial editing are agreed before the service begins. New research, graph expansion and additional editing are separately scoped.

Wikidata services pay for professional research and editorial work. They do not buy ownership of records or guarantee retention, search rankings, Google Knowledge Panels or citations in search answers.

Order and manage your Wikidata services through your WikiNative platform account.
